Dear Advisors and Delegates:

Welcome to the 9th Annual Boston Invitational Model United Nations Conference, hosted by Boston University! The BosMUN IX Secretariat and myself would like to take this opportunity to invite your school to attend our conference. Hosted at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers from February 19 to 21, 2010, BosMUN IX will include a unique substantive program and an exciting weekend that both experienced and new delegates will enjoy.

Given the number of conferences that our own association attends on the collegiate circuit, we are confident that the committees brought together at BosMUN IX will impress you in their creativity, as well as in their accurate portrayal of potential world scenarios and diplomatic processes. With committees ranging from the World Health Organization and the UN Children's Fund to the Pan-African Parliament and Interpol, we hope to give high school students the opportunity to learn more about the roles of international organizations and how they relate to each other and to national governments - and we have no doubt as to the fun that delegates will experience while taking on the roles of global leaders!
