Overview
Topic: Redevelopment of Midport Village
Welcome to Midport Village! Serving as one of the main commercial hubs for Overworld, and boasting the elegant natural arch that towers above the city, the Villagers take immense pride in their home, and they love crushing a loaf. However, not all is without issue in Midport Village after Piglin Sorcerer Malgosha’s raid on the Village in search for Steve and his friends. After immense destruction, and the threat of looming Pillager retaliation, the Villagers must figure out how to get Midport Village back on its feet, focusing on issues such as the reconstruction of ruined structures, new buildings and city expansions, farm land reform, the operation of the great Redstone Mines, emerald trade regulations, rogue creeper farms, Iron Golem security, and much more to restore the great city to its former glory. First we mine, then we craft. Let’s Minecraft!

Braulio Valenzuela - Vice Chair
Braulio Valenzuela is a freshman at Boston University studying International Relations. Originally from Monterrey, México, and now residing in Colorado, Braulio is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys snowboarding in the Rockies and biking. On campus, he has spent his first semester learning the intricacies of diplomacy as a member of the competitive Model UN team. While he may be a newer face in the MUN circuit, he is a seasoned veteran when it comes to the world of Minecraft, and he is thrilled to blend his academic interests with one of his favorite games of all time.
Braulio’s goal for the weekend is to channel the creativity and excitement of the game into the committee room, aiming to make the BosMUN experience as immersive and addictive as a classic "two-week Minecraft phase." When he isn't studying or prepping for committee, you can find him keeping up with global political events or spending time with friends. He encourages all "players" to come to committee with high energy and a creative spirit. Braulio is looking forward to meeting everyone in person and is available via email for any questions or comments as the conference approaches.
