Economic and Social Councils (ECOSOC) are mid-sized committees that debate issues relevant to the specialized agencies of the United Nations and other intergovernmental agencies. Although ECOSOCs follow standard parliamentary procedure just like General Assemblies (GA), they are smaller, with around 50-70 delegates each, and generally deal with more specific topics than GAs.
